Seldén offers a full range of spinnaker equipment for keelboats. It consists of five aluminum pole sections, three carbon fiber sections, low-weight composite end fittings, telescopic whisker poles, jockey poles, and mast fittings. Dimensioning the correct size of poles is easy and they are available as build-it-yourself kits or custom-made by Seldén.
The end fittings are made of glass fiber-reinforced polyamide composite. This material makes for a combination of low weight and strength and it also prevents damage to the boat or mast when the pole is on the foredeck. The claw has a well-rounded stainless chafe guard, preventing damage to the sheet and guy. The stainless, spring-loaded plunger is operated at the end fitting or with the release line. Spinnaker pole lift and downhaul are attached to lift eyes in the middle of the pole or to a bridle.
Seldén carbon spinnaker poles are suitable for dinghies and for yachts up to 30 tonnes. The larger poles are tapered to optimize weight/strength requirements and facilitate handling.
