There is no need to wait for Selden to build your customized aluminum pole. You can build it yourself by purchasing one of these spinnaker pole kits, and a section of pole tubing.

The included (two) #534-865 latching end fittings, can be used for either end-for-end gybing, or dip-pole gybing with vertical pole storage.
However, if you use end-for-end gybing - especially if you race your boat - we do not recommend storing the pole vertically on the front of the mast, as the required 511-585-01, 10° Toggle Car, flops around, making it a challenge to re-latch the pole, especially under racing pressure.
