Mounting instruction

Fasteners: MRT M6x20 screws are included in the kit. Any stainless M6 or 1/4” cheese-headed screws can be used. Minimum length 20 mm (5/8”)

Tools needed:

Drill bit 5-5.2 mm (for M6)

Drill bit ø6.5 or pen for marking

Thread tap M6

Torx-Key T30

Mounting:

1. Adjust the bracket so that its bases are fully aligned with the aft surfaces of the mast.

2. Mark out the four outer holes of the bases with a ø6.5 mm (~1/4”) drill bit or a pen.

3. Drill holes ø5 mm and tap M6 or similar imperial.*

4. Screw the bracket to the mast.

5. Mark out the eight remaining holes according. to step 2.

6. Remove the bracket and finish the six holes.

7. Apply locking adhesive to the screws and fit the bracket firmly. Do not overtighten - the mast wall can be thin. If a thread would fail, drill and fit a ø6.4 (1/4”) rivet. Length: 18mm (3/4”). Seldén part no.167-002. *)

CAUTION! Cables and halyards inside mast. To avoid damage when drilling holes, use a depth stopper on the drill bit
