Loos Cableware Division offers a full line of sleeves and stops to meet the needs of various industries. These copper stop sleeves are capable of holding 1/3 to 1/2 of the rated breaking strength of the cable to which they are attached when properly applied with hand-swager tool to bare cable.

This hand-swaged stop sleeve can serve as a ball swage in outhauls and will meet the demand of any application using wire rope, cable, or fiber rope to fabricate rigging, lifeline, engine, or other marine cable functions.

• These are used with aircraft cable, wire rope, and fiber rope.
• Nicopress oval sleeves are used to eye-splice, and Nicopress stop sleeves are used to terminate cable and rope.
• These copper stop sleeves are used on the ends of cables that provide a reliable connection point that prevents the wire rope from unraveling, fraying, or slipping out.
• They are compressed onto the wire with a cable swager. Plain copper and zinc-coated sleeves are used with galvanized cable, and tin-coated sleeves are to be used with stainless steel cable.
