Hand-Crimp Fitting for 3/16" Wire - Type 316 Stainless Steel

Hand Crimp fittings allow one to install lifelines with Johnson hand-crimp tool #53-210. This means fabrication may be done directly on the boat, saving time and eliminating measurement error. Hand Crimp fittings, when installed properly, bring safety and satisfaction to the experienced do-it-yourselfer.

Note: A properly installed hand-crimp fitting will hold 65-70% of the breaking strength of 7x7 cable. While this has proven adequate for lifelines, do NOT use these fittings for standing rigging or other high-load applications.
