System A components typically suit monohulls to 37-50 ft (11-15 m) and multihulls to 30-40 ft (9-12 m). Regardless of hull length, the maximum mainsail area for monohulls is 600 ft² (56 m²) and for multihulls it is 500 ft² (46 m²).
Harken's slug mount track is lightweight and easy to install on most masts, even with the spar up.
Mounting slugs, available for flat or round mast grooves, slide into the mast groove and mate with the track to allow secure fastening of the track to the mast - no drilling required. See Accessory Products, below.
For masts without a mast groove, Harken's 2720 Small Boat Traveler Track has the same profile, and can be fastened directly to the mast (drilling and tapping required). See Related Products, below.
All track is hardkote anodized aluminum.
