This kit allows you to convert your 30A boat and shore power cord to the safer and esy to use Smart Plug system, while still allowing you to plug into a traditional twist-lock 30A dockside power station.
This DIY kit includes a stainless steel shore power inlet to replace your existing inlet (same footprint), as well as a Smart Plug cordset with a Smart Plug connector at the boat end, and a standard "twist-lock" plug at the dock end.

SmartPlug's innovative shape and secure locking mechanism on the boat end of the power cord protect against loose connections and corrosion - the leading causes of marine fire and electrocution.

The locking mechanisms on the power cord and boat inlet snap together, so you can both feel and hear the positive connection being made; no twisting required.
The male and female bodies nest together, so aligning the pins is a snap.

The 30A 125V Marine cord set provides a super-flexible cord that can be tightly coiled even in cold weather. It comes with a cool blue LED Power Indicator Light that glows when the power is on. It also includes a SmartPlug connector with a weatherproof seal for the boat side and the industry-standard, 3-pin twist-type connector for the marina power pedestal.

A Multi-Point Locking System features side clips that lock the plug body securely into the inlet. This eliminates any stress on the electrical connection from movement of the power cord. Weather-Resistant Seals are created by multi-fin silicone gaskets that are installed in the plug body. These eliminate any water penetration when the plug is connected to the inlet.
